Spool Groups & QR
Generate and print QR labels for spool groups so scans open group-level inventory views without manual spool assignment.
Group Model
- Groups are material-oriented and can include default + custom groups.
- Spool classification is automatic; QR feature is for group labels only.
- Scanning group QR opens the group contents view.
QR Maker Flow
- Select one or more groups.
- Choose template/layout.
- Adjust layout + print options.
- Preview and print/export sheet.
Layout & Print Options
- Template, label size, page size, spacing, margins, and orientation.
- Switches: Cut lines, Show group name, Show material, Show meta.
- Alignment presets and safe bounds help avoid clipped labels.
- Auto-fit options can increase QR size when text fields are hidden.
Manage QR Codes
- Manage QR data from Account/management area.
- Reprint existing sheets, regenerate labels, and maintain saved templates.
- Use search/filter to find previous QR sets quickly.
Scan Behavior
- QR payloads resolve to group endpoints and open group contents.
- If group appears empty unexpectedly, verify current workspace sync and group membership state.
- For external scanners, ensure the public app URL is configured correctly in settings.
Troubleshooting
- If toggles appear to reset, ensure you click apply/save in the QR maker workflow.
- If preview scale looks wrong, use auto-fit or alignment presets and confirm template dimensions.
- If print output is blank, verify print preview first and retry with default template settings.
